Besides the footbeds the type of sole plays an important role when choosing the right shoe. All soles you find at besser gehen feature superior shock absorption characteristics and automatically even out imbalances in the walking surface. All types of sole are very light, longlasting, and abrasion-resistant. These special characteristics efficiently prevent fast and one-sided wear and tear.
EVA features excellent shock absorbing characteristics and is very lightweight. That’s the reason EVA is used for so many different styles available from our besser gehen shop. EVA-soles are the perfect icing on the cake for the anatomically moulded comfort footbeds – at home, in your spare time or on the go.
You find soles made of Alpro-Foam in the bath and leisure as well as the work section. Flexible, water-resistant and stable are the special characteristics of all styles featuring Alpro-Foam soles.
Leather soles have always been an integral part of our classic patent leather shoes, which go well with suit or evening gown and in which you will cut a fine figure at any ball or gala. The soles consist of strong, durable leather with which you will easily master any business meeting and many receptions.
For all those who are on their feet all day during work or in their leisure time the supergrip sole offers best support. Particularly elastic EVA eases the rolling motion of the foot and cushions every step. The bottom of the supergrip sole is made of flexible rubber. It is non-abrasive, oil and grease resistant, and has a non-slip tread which is approved according to European Norm EN 344 for safety, protective, and work shoes for industrial applications.
The Alpro ProClassic sole, just like all other EVA soles, features extraordinary shock absorbing properties and is particularly lightweight. The specialty of the ProClassic sole: it features an extented contact area and a non-slip tread (according to German Industry Norm DIN 4843 Part 100).
The Alpro ProFashion sole is very comfortable and extremely versatile – from the moment you first slip it on. This is due to millions of tiny air bubbles. In combination with the perma-elastic heel cushion of the soft footbed they provide for comfort you can really feel. The sole is non-abrasive, oil and grease resistant and equipped with a non-slip tread (according to German Industry Norm DIN 4843 Part 100). The ideal sole-footbed-combination for all walking and standing jobs.
In order to counteract electro-static discharge you find a great many styles outfitted with ESD and antistatic equipment at besser gehen. This serves to softly discharge potential charges on a continuous basis, which is very important when dealing with sensitive semi-conductors or high-frequency technology but even in every day life. The soft discharge is achieved by a special antistatic medium inside the footbed and the EVA or Alpro-Foam sole. It emits electric impulses softly to the ground with every step.
